Domaine des Peregrins

About the Winery

Rooted in generations of family tradition, Domaine des Pérégrins is a small, organically farmed estate located in Poilly-sur-Serein, in the southeastern corner of the Chablis appellation. The Moreau family has cultivated their 13 hectares of vineyards since the early 1980s, though for many years their fruit was sold to négociants.

In 2016, Eléonore Moreau took over winemaking and transformed the estate’s direction — introducing organic certification, extending aging on lees to 12–18 months, and emphasizing precision both in the vines and the cellar. All wines are fermented and aged in temperature-controlled stainless steel, highlighting purity, minerality, and texture.

The domaine produces both Chablis and Petit Chablis, crafted identically from vineyard to bottle. The distinction lies in their soils: Petit Chablis from Portlandian limestone, and Chablis from Kimmeridgian limestone — a subtle geological difference that gives each wine its unique voice.

Focused, expressive, and elegant, Domaine des Pérégrins embodies the timeless character of Chablis with a patient, artisanal approach.
