About the Winery

Founded in 2013 through a collaboration between Coca i Fitó, the Vives family, and winemaker Eva Escudé, Samsara Priorat crafts elegant, modern wines that express the balance between fruit, minerality, and the rugged slate soils (llicorella) of Priorat, Spain. Rooted in sustainable viticulture and minimal intervention, Samsara captures the essence of this legendary terroir with freshness, depth, and harmony.

The name “Samsara” draws from the Indian concept of cyclic harmony between man and nature, symbolizing the brand’s deep connection to Priorat’s unique landscape. Their vineyards span the villages of Gratallops, Escaladei, La Vilella Alta, and Poboleda, with old vines of Grenache (Garnatxa), Carignan (Carinyena), Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon rooted in terraces of llicorella.

The result is a modern, approachable Priorat, offering vibrancy, depth, and a true sense of place — perfect for both seasoned enthusiasts and those new to the region.
