About the Winery

Rising above the hills of Gaiole in Chianti, Bertinga represents a bold, contemporary vision of Tuscan winemaking — one that unites authenticity, precision, and respect for nature.

Founded in 2015, the estate spans 16 hectares of high-altitude vineyards between 450 and 550 metres above sea level, rooted in galestro and alberese soils that give the wines their distinctive minerality and structure. The focus is on Sangiovese, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon, crafted into single-vineyard expressions that showcase both power and elegance.

Committed to organic and sustainable farming, Bertinga combines traditional hand-harvesting with meticulous small-batch vinification and long aging in French oak. The result is a collection of wines that reflect the purity, balance, and energy of Chianti Classico’s most elevated terroir.
